Hi from Lindsey….
Cameras out: LCC has been closed now for 11 weeks already, so you should have a lot of photos ready for next season!
This is your Summer Newsletter and a Reminder of Whats Happening, Whats On and other bits of interest.
Whats happening first –
You have elected me as Deputy Chair for the new season
2016/7. As no one else has come forward, I will become Acting Chair for the year, with a team of valued Committee Members from last year to help. Their full details will be shown on the Website soon and on our new LCC Programme available at Littlehampton Town Show on Saturday, 9th September.
Whats On –
Our exhibition of Prints is up in Littlehampton Library,
Maltravers Road, until Saturday 29th, thanks to our helpers. We have over fifty images on show there. Please visit and if you can, spend a little time to talk to the people enjoying the work, and see if they are interested in joining us. There is another smaller exhibition on too, in the Library, using black and white images to show how photography has helped a man with serious ill health.
Chichester Camera Club will be showing work at the
Assembly Room, Council House, North Street, Chichester, PO19 1LQ, from Saturday 5th to 12th August. Entry free.
Wildlife photographer David Plummer, who will be at our club next March, is showing some of his great pictures at Ferring Village Hall, The Street, Ferring on Friday, 28th July at 7.30 PM. You may have seen him on TV recently. Top tip – get there early for parking and a seat. £3 per person entry.
I want to go to all of these.
See you around.
PS If you want to use your Mobile phone photos next season get them ready for a new opportunity.
