Littlehampton 2006 Town Show LCC photo display

Who's hiding while setting up at the 2006 Littlehampton Town Show stand.


The Littlehampton Town Show was held on September 9th 2006 at Rosemead. The Camera Club were in attendance in the Community Tent displaying a range of their photographic skills. Again, a lot of interest was shown by members of the public who have acquired digital cameras themselves.

Setting up the LCC 2006 Exhibition at the Littlehampton Museum has been completed. It runs from the 9th Sept to 21st Oct. so get on down and view the complete winners from the past season.




'Club walks 2006'

Club walks in 2006.


'Final 2006 meeting of the walks group, Ford, West Sussex.

Final club's 2006 evening walk, this time along the Arun river to Ford Church, West Sussex. 31st August 2006. Ending up where we started the The Ship & Anchor for a evening of entertainment and a magnificent buffet put on by Arthur and Rose from the pub. The trips this year were brilliantly organised by Mike Constable with the first two walks by Chris Green.

'Walk along the old Portsmouth canal, Yapton.

The club walks from Yapton (West Sussex, UK) - Following the disused Portsmouth canal and back across the corn fields to the local pub 'SHOULDER OF MUTTON & CUCUMBERS' 2nd August 2006. The name used to be in the record books for its length, but has been shortened!

The club visit to the Wildlife Centre 8th June.


Seven club members enjoyed a superb sunny day at the British Wildlife Centre, Newchapel, (north of East Grinstead on the A22).
Having been welcomed by the centres owner Peter, they spent six hours photographing Otters, Foxes, Frogs, Polecats, Pine Martins and Deer to name just a few of forty species that the centre has on display.

ron shanks the crouch

Ron Shanks 2006/7 Regnum Crouch Group Chairman.


The Crouch Slide Competition was held on March 22nd 2006 at Yapton Village Hall. The Littlehampton Camera Club were in attendance displaying their selected slides. A total of ten local clubs attended the event hosted by Bognor Camera Club. Eventually winner with 91 points was Mid Sussex Club. Littlehampton came fourth after a rather controversy low points awarded to the last slide by Norman Atkinson.
