Guidelines for members:
Submitting your Portfolio

1. Select 12 - 15 images. They can be your favourites, a holiday trip, special event, or a single theme.

2. If you use slides, they will require scanning into a photo-imaging program and reduced to a JPG size with a maximum height or width of 400px.

3. If your images are digital, then carry out any enhancement in your photo-image program, then reduce to JPG size with again a maximum height or width of 400px.

4. If you are using Photoshop with a 'save to web' option, then save your images at a medium setting no.30 and state this on your submission form.

5. If possible, save using colour profile sRGB 1E61966-2.1. If you are not sure about this leave it and Rita will save your image for you using this profile.

6. Submission Form: This can be obtained from Rita English, (Portfolio compiler). On this form list your name, type of portfolio submitted (i.e. favourite theme, etc.), type of camera used and lens if using only one. A short history of your photographic experience and finally, a title and short description of each image. If you require the images shown in a particular order, then please, if possible, save them as you require them to be shown, or indicate the order on the submission form.

7. Present your images to Rita, if possible saved onto a CD. If you do not have access to any of the items mentioned then please contact Ken Rippengale (Webmaster) who will consider the alternatives for getting your images onto the web site.

8. You are, of course, not limited to one portfolio, you can submit another one when you have another batch of images.
